Welcome to the website of the Associated General Contractors of Virginia. Thank you for taking the time to browse our pages. I hope by now it is evident that AGC is an organization focused on helping its members survive the many challenges facing the industry at this time. And more than just survive, our goal is to help members prosper in this wonderful yet challenging industry. AGC is the largest and most influential construction trade organization in the Commonwealth. Comprised of more than 700 member firms including general contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers and service providers, AGC is focused upon workforce development and training, legislative and regulatory representation, jobsite safety, money saving programs and networking. Much effort has been invested in recent years in developing affinity programs to help members save a lot of money through these AGC developed and negotiated programs. Have we succeeded? You bet. In fact, many members report the direct annual savings far exceed their dues investment in the association! Cost effective indeed! The AGC of Virginia was selected by AGC of America as its Chapter of the Year in 2009 in recognition of its many accomplishments and services for members.
