Join Tidewater District members for a Project Spotlight on the HRBT. The Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel (HRBT) Expansion Project is a large-scale transportation initiative in Virginia designed to double the capacity of the HRBT corridor, ease congestion, and improve travel time reliability. The project involves widening the I-64 corridor from four to eight lanes, constructing new tunnels, and building new bridges.
