Valley District Skilled Trades Competition 8/10/26-8/13/26

Local students (your future workforce!) will showcase their abilities during a series of Skilled Trade Competitions August 10-13 at the Rockingham County Fair.

Competitions will take place in the following categories: 

• Carpentry - Monday, August 10
• Electrical - Tuesday, August 11
• HVAC - Wednesday, August 12
• Masonry - Thursday, August 13

How you can help:

• Volunteer - For each competition, there are materials to set up prior to the start and after it concludes. By donating just two hours of your time, you can make a tremendous impact. Sign up for a volunteer slot here.
• Donate - These supplies make the competitions possible. If your company would like to make monetary OR material donations, please email Kirk Adams with Riddleberger Brothers.
• Attend - These students are talented and passionate; make plans to attend the fair and stop by to watch one or more of the competitions take place. You'll be impressed and inspired by what you see! This is a great opportunity to get to know these students who are excited to begin a career in our industry.
