Empowered was created by leadership development experts with deep industry knowledge and experience and incorporates contributions, strategies, and insights from successful women leaders in construction and engineering. We are empowering women in construction to lead.
Program Overview
Empowered is a 10-month leadership development program tailored to the unique challenges and opportunities women face in construction. It combines real-world insights, actionable strategies, and a supportive learning environment to help you unlock your full potential.
Through a series of interactive workshops and networking opportunities, you'll gain the tools, confidence, and mindset to thrive as a leader, making a tangible difference in your organization and the industry.

Meet the Instructor
Courtney Jordan is a leadership consultant, executive coach, speaker, and founder of The Jordan Group. She partners with organizations across industries, including construction, nonprofits, and professional services, to install people systems that are sustainable and scalable.
Known as a trusted listener and relational connector, Courtney brings clarity when communication becomes cross-threaded and helps leaders and teams feel seen, understood, and aligned. With more than 20 years of experience, she equips leaders with practical tools they can apply immediately to strengthen trust, navigate tension, and improve performance.
In her off time, she’s a traveler, golfer, and “Fun Aunt Coco.” A die-hard UVA and Washington, D.C. sports fan, she’s proudly known as “Sportney.”
