Friday Safety Session 1 | BEST in Practice: From Level 1 Commitment to Level 3 Culture
1:30 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.

BEST is more than an application, audit, or designation. At its strongest, it is a safety and health management system that matures through leadership behavior, employee trust, field consistency, and continuous improvement.

This facilitated discussion will walk through how BEST expectations progress from Level 1 to Level 3, using real-world contractor perspectives and Review Board insight. Participants will hear how companies translate the BEST framework into daily operations, strengthen their self-assessment process, and identify what may be stalling progression to the next level.

The conversation will focus on the practical differences between Level 1 commitment, Level 2 consistency, and Level 3 sustainability, including what Review Boards look for when determining whether systems are truly working in the field.

Friday Safety Session 2 | Safety Regulatory Update: What Contractors Need to Know Now
3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

From OSHA activity to heat illness prevention and emerging enforcement trends, contractors are navigating a safety regulatory landscape that continues to evolve.

This session will offer a practical update on current and upcoming safety issues affecting construction employers. Attendees will hear what contractors should be paying attention to, where compliance expectations may be shifting, and how safety leaders can prepare their teams with clarity and confidence.

The goal is to move beyond simply tracking regulations and help contractors understand what these updates mean in the field.

Saturday Safety Roundtable | Building a Safety Culture Beyond Compliance
9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

True safety culture goes beyond policies, audits, and checklists. It is built when leadership, field teams, and trade partners share ownership of the work and the expectations that keep people safe.

This roundtable will explore how companies are creating field-level buy-in, encouraging open reporting of concerns and near hits, coaching instead of policing, and reinforcing safe behaviors in practical, everyday ways. Participants will discuss what a healthy safety culture looks like in action and how leaders can help make safety a shared responsibility across the entire project team.
